What non-surgical rhinoplasty means
Non-surgical rhinoplasty uses filler to change selected aspects of a nose's contour. It is sometimes called a liquid nose job, but it is not surgery and does not offer all the changes a surgical procedure may achieve. Hyaluronic acid filler may help selected profile irregularities appear less noticeable by adding support around them. The underlying nose is not physically made smaller.
A bump, a tip position or an uneven transition can involve different anatomical issues. Your provider examines the nose from more than one angle and considers the relationship to the cheeks, lips and chin. A photograph showing a changed profile does not establish that the same treatment is appropriate for you. Filler cannot promise a particular angle or remove every asymmetry.
Concerns about breathing, injury, a deviated structure or reducing overall size are not solved simply by adding filler. They may call for another medical or surgical opinion. If you have had nasal surgery, implants or previous filler, that history matters to both assessment and risk. The most useful consultation may be one that recommends not injecting.
Who it may suit, and when to wait
An adult with a selected contour concern may discuss filler if they understand that it adds material and that the nose has important vascular risks. Your provider should explain which part of your concern could possibly be addressed, what would remain unchanged and whether a different approach is more appropriate. A conservative goal is still not a guarantee of a result.
Bring information about prior nasal surgery, trauma, implants, filler and dissolving. Describe any persistent pain, swelling or unexplained change. Altered anatomy can affect assessment, and an old procedure should not be treated as irrelevant simply because it happened years ago. If you do not know a previous filler's brand, tell the provider rather than guessing.
Pregnancy or breastfeeding, infection or irritated skin, prior reactions and certain medical conditions may mean waiting or choosing another option. Medicines affecting bleeding and healing also need discussion. Do not stop a prescription based on a general preparation list. The decision should follow an individual history and examination, not a comparison with someone else's treatment.
Before treatment
A considered decision
Nose filler changes contour by adding, not subtracting.
A smoother-looking profile may require adding volume around an irregularity; that does not mean the nose is smaller. If reduction, breathing or a structural change is the priority, a different assessment may serve you better.
Nasal filler carries important vascular risks, including rare vision-threatening complications. Hyaluronic acid can sometimes be dissolved, but this does not eliminate those risks or guarantee reversal of harm. Understand the limits before consenting.
Product, labeling and price
Botanica lists non-surgical rhinoplasty from $1,200. That is the starting price, not a fixed package, quantity or guaranteed outcome. The proposed product, amount and total are confirmed at consultation. Ask how the plan is calculated and what follow-up is discussed before committing.
Hyaluronic acid products may be dissolved when appropriate. Ask for the actual product name and the labeling relevant to the proposed site. The FDA advises against injecting dermal filler into the nose; nasal use is not established as an approved indication merely because a filler is authorized for another facial area. This warning needs an explicit discussion during assessment.
A consultation should explain evidence, off-label considerations, alternatives and why a particular approach may or may not be reasonable for you. Price and the availability of dissolving are not substitutes for that conversation. You can decline when the risks or expected limitations do not match your preferences.
What to expect, step by step
Examine the concern. Describe what bothers you from the front and side and whether function is involved. Your provider examines the nose, surrounding proportions and previous treatment history. A reference image can explain a preference but cannot determine candidacy or a promised outcome.
Discuss limits and consent. Review the proposed product, site, regulatory considerations, vascular risks and alternatives. Understand that filler adds volume and cannot replace every surgical change. Ask how you will get urgent help if symptoms develop during or after treatment.
Confirm the plan and price. The published starting price is $1,200; the proposed total is confirmed before treatment. The amount and technique follow the examination rather than a standard recipe. A consultation does not require you to proceed that day.
Treatment, if appropriate. Preparation and comfort measures depend on the agreed plan. Pinching, pressure or tenderness may occur. Tell the provider immediately about severe pain, visual symptoms or any unexpected sensation. A needle or cannula does not remove the possibility of vascular injury.
Aftercare and review. Receive written guidance about pressure, activity, other procedures and signs needing urgent attention. Discuss when swelling should be reassessed and when a review is appropriate. Additional filler is not an automatic response to an early uneven appearance.
Downtime, day by day
- Days 1–2
- Swelling, tenderness and bruising can occur. Early appearance may be affected by tissue response, so do not interpret an immediate contour as a settled result.
- Following days
- Some swelling may ease while bruising or sensitivity remains. Your provider advises how to handle pressure from glasses, touching the nose or other activities for the actual plan.
- Review period
- About two weeks can be a point to assess settling. Your provider may recommend different observation or assessment based on your history and symptoms.
Recovery varies, and this outline is not a promise that visible effects will clear by a particular date. Visual changes, increasing pain or unusual skin colour require urgent attention rather than waiting for a scheduled review.
Risks and informed consent
Common effects can include swelling, bruising, tenderness and redness. Unevenness, lumps, infection, delayed inflammation, migration or an unwanted appearance are also possible. Existing surgery or filler can make assessment more complex. Neither experience nor an intention to treat conservatively can remove all uncertainty.
Blood vessels in the nose communicate with important vessels around the eyes and face. Filler entering or compressing a vessel can injure skin, and rare serious complications can include vision loss and stroke. These are not merely cosmetic disappointments. The possibility of dissolving hyaluronic acid should never be used to imply that every vascular or visual complication can be resolved.
Seek urgent medical help for any visual change, severe or increasing pain, pale or dusky skin or other symptoms described as urgent in your aftercare. Contact the treating team promptly as well. Do not press, massage or attempt to manage a suspected complication yourself. Emergency assessment should not be delayed while waiting for routine office follow-up.
Aftercare and realistic review
Use the written guidance provided for your product and nose treatment. Ask specifically about glasses, sleeping pressure, exercise, skincare and any planned dental or facial procedures. General filler guidance recommends avoiding hard exercise, alcohol, saunas and pressure on the treated area for a day or two; individual instructions may differ.
Do not manipulate a contour you dislike during early swelling unless the provider has instructed you to do so. Contact the team about persistent or unexpected symptoms. Keep the product details and treatment date so another clinician can understand your history if you later consider surgery or another injectable procedure.
Typical filler guidance describes nasal filler effects as commonly lasting six to twelve months, but product, anatomy and response vary. That is not a promised duration or a routine refill date. At review, discuss whether the original concern was addressed, whether observation is preferable and whether further treatment would add more volume than you want.
Who performs your treatment
Care at Botanica Beauty Studio is provided by licensed nurse practitioners under physician medical direction. Your consultation is a conversation with a licensed provider, not a promise that a particular procedure will be appropriate. Assessment, informed consent and the decision to proceed remain individual medical decisions.
Ask who will carry out your treatment, what experience they have with the specific area, and how you can reach the team afterward. A provider should explain the proposed product or device, its intended use, relevant limitations and the alternatives. You do not need to commit while questions remain unanswered. This guide is general information, not a substitute for an examination or individualized medical advice.
Serving Bellevue and the Eastside
Botanica Beauty Studio is at 12611 Northup Way Suite 220, Bellevue, WA. The studio is open seven days, 10am to 6pm. If you are coming from Kirkland, Redmond, Medina, Mercer Island or Seattle, plan your visit around the assessment and any recovery instructions rather than assuming treatment will happen immediately.
Bring a list of medications, supplements, allergies and previous cosmetic procedures. Mention an upcoming event or travel so your provider can discuss timing without promising that swelling, redness or a treatment response will follow a particular schedule. For location questions, call (425) 543-6060. Book through Boulevard to discuss your goals and candidacy; a consultation may also conclude that treatment should be postponed or not performed.
Questions
Non-surgical rhinoplasty, answered
How much does nose filler cost in Bellevue?
Botanica lists non-surgical rhinoplasty from $1,200. Your product, proposed amount and total are confirmed at consultation; the starting price is not a package or a promised result.
Can nose filler make my nose smaller?
Filler adds volume and cannot physically reduce nose size. It may change selected contours or how a profile irregularity appears, but a reduction goal may need a different assessment.
Can filler improve breathing or a structural problem?
A cosmetic injection is not a substitute for evaluating breathing problems, injury or structural concerns. Tell your provider about these symptoms so another medical or surgical opinion can be considered.
Is nasal filler an approved injection site?
The FDA advises against injecting dermal filler into the nose. Discuss the actual product, proposed use, evidence and regulatory considerations explicitly; authorization for another facial area does not establish a nasal indication.
Can hyaluronic acid nose filler be dissolved?
A licensed provider may use hyaluronidase when appropriate. Dissolving has limitations and risks and does not guarantee reversal of every adverse effect, particularly vascular or visual harm.
How long does non-surgical rhinoplasty last?
Typical filler guidance describes six to twelve months as a common range, but the product, amount, anatomy and your response vary. A fixed duration or ongoing result cannot be promised.
How long is recovery?
Swelling, bruising and sensitivity may last for several days or longer. Your provider discusses review timing and activity restrictions individually; do not assume an event or travel date will be unaffected.
What if I have already had nasal surgery or filler?
Provide the surgery and product details if available. Altered anatomy and previous material may influence candidacy and risk. An examination is needed before considering additional filler.
What symptoms need urgent medical care?
Visual changes, severe or increasing pain, unusual pale or dusky skin and other concerning symptoms need urgent assessment. Notify your provider as well, but do not wait for a routine appointment.
How do I decide between filler and surgery?
Discuss whether your goal involves adding contour, reducing size, changing structure or improving function. These are different questions, and your provider may recommend another opinion or no injection.
