What cosmetic injectables do
Cosmetic injectables soften lines, restore lost volume or refine a feature with a fine needle, without surgery. Most fall into two groups.
Wrinkle relaxers, such as Facial Tox, relax the muscles that crease the skin when you frown or squint.
Fillers restore volume where it has been lost: cheeks, lips, chin, under-eyes.
A third group, collagen stimulators such as Radiesse and Sculptra, works slowly by helping your skin build its own collagen. Most people need one of these. Very few need all of them.

Relaxers or fillers: how to tell which you need
Frown in the mirror, then relax your face.
If the line only appears when you move, a wrinkle relaxer is usually the answer.
If it is there even at rest, that is usually volume, and filler is the better tool.
Lines etched in over years can be both. The mistake to avoid is using filler to chase a line caused by movement: it adds weight without fixing the cause. At your consultation we tell you which one you need, and which one you do not.
Choosing where to start
Start small, with the thing that bothers you most. For most first-timers that is a modest dose of Facial Tox: gentle, predictable, and it wears off on its own. What we do not recommend is a first visit that changes everything. One well-chosen treatment and a review at two weeks tells you whether a practice deserves more of your trust.
What a consultation involves
A conversation, not a sales pitch. We ask what bothers you, look at your face at rest and in motion, and go through your health history privately, in person. Then we tell you plainly what we would do, what we would not, and what it costs. Sometimes the answer is less than you expected. There is no obligation to book a treatment.
We would rather undertreat you twice than overtreat you once.
Our approach
The overdone look rarely comes from one treatment. It comes from small overcorrections that add up, and from injectors who agree to everything. We place less than you might expect, let it settle and see you at two weeks. You can always add. Taking away is slower and harder.
How pricing works
Facial Tox is priced per unit, so your total depends on the areas and your muscle strength. Fillers are priced per syringe or per area. Collagen stimulators are priced per treatment. We confirm your full cost before anything is done.
Who performs your treatment
Licensed nurse practitioners working under physician medical direction. You will know who is treating you, what they plan to use and why, before anything is injected. If you would like to see the same person each time, tell us when you book.

Questions
Injectables, answered
What is the difference between Facial Tox and filler?
Facial Tox and other wrinkle relaxers soften lines caused by movement by relaxing the muscle underneath. Fillers restore volume where it has been lost. Relaxers treat creases that appear when you frown or squint; fillers treat hollows and lines that are there at rest. Many people only need one.
Which injectable should I start with if I have never had anything done?
Usually a modest dose of Facial Tox for the lines that bother you most. It is predictable, the appointment is short, and it wears off on its own in a few months, so you can see how you respond before deciding on anything more.
How much do injectables cost in Bellevue?
Facial Tox is $13 per unit. Lip filler starts from $350; cheek, chin, jawline and under-eye filler from $895. Radiesse and Sculptra start from $800, and PDO thread lifts from $1,500. We confirm your full cost before we begin.
Will people be able to tell I have had something done?
Not if it is done well. The goal is that people notice you look rested, not that you have had work. Small, adjustable changes reviewed at two weeks look natural; large ones are what people notice.
How long before I see results?
Filler shows straight away and settles over about two weeks. Facial Tox takes effect over three to seven days, with the full result at two weeks. Collagen stimulators develop over a few months.
Who performs injections at Botanica Beauty Studio?
Licensed nurse practitioners working under physician medical direction. You will know who is treating you before your appointment begins, and you are welcome to ask about their training and experience.
How do I know if an injector is properly qualified in Washington?
Cosmetic injections must be performed by an appropriately licensed medical professional working within their scope and under the required supervision. You can check any clinician's licence on the Washington State Department of Health provider lookup. We are happy to tell you exactly who will treat you.
Can I combine treatments in one visit?
Often, yes. Facial Tox and a little filler can be done in the same appointment. For first-timers we usually suggest fewer changes at once, so each result is easy to judge.
