What Morpheus8 is
Microneedling plus radiofrequency energy. Fine, insulated needles enter the skin to a set depth, then release gentle heat beneath the surface. That heat and the microneedling together prompt your skin to rebuild collagen and elastin. Over the following months, skin can become firmer and smoother, with better definition along the jaw and neck. The change comes from your own skin, so it builds gradually.

Areas we treat
Face
Texture, fine lines, acne scarring and early laxity in the lower cheeks.
Neck and jawline
Where Morpheus8 is most often chosen: a sharper line from ear to chin and softer early jowling. Real but gradual; significant sagging may need a surgical opinion.
Body
Stretch marks and crepey skin, using deeper settings, planned separately.
Who it suits, and who it does not
Who it suits
It tends to suit adults with mild to moderate laxity, textured skin or acne scarring who want gradual, natural improvement and can allow a few days of downtime.
Who it does not
It is not a facelift. If sagging is significant, we will tell you the result may be modest and a surgical consultation may serve you better.
We do not treat anyone pregnant, with a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, an active infection or cold sore in the area, isotretinoin in the past six months, or a tendency to keloid scars. We review your history privately at consultation.
What a session feels like
Numbing cream goes on for 45 to 60 minutes. Even so, Morpheus8 is more intense than standard microneedling: pressure, prickling and heat with each pass, strongest over the jaw and forehead. We adjust settings and pace as we go, and you can ask us to pause at any time. The treatment takes 30 to 60 minutes for the face; allow about two hours in total.
Recovery
Downtime, day by day
First 24 hours, keep skin clean and bare: no makeup, sweating or swimming. Skip retinoids and acids for a week and wear sunscreen daily. Many people book before a weekend.
- Days 1–2
redness, swelling and warmth, like a strong sunburn; possibly a faint grid of tiny marks.
- Days 2–5
redness fades; small dry spots or light flaking as skin renews.
- About a week
most people look close to normal.
How many sessions, realistically
Most people need a series: up to three sessions, four to six weeks apart. Acne scarring or more laxity may need more. Once you are happy, one maintenance session a year is common. We give you an honest estimate, not a number designed to sound appealing.
Results timeline
An early glow once the redness settles is not the real result. Collagen takes time: skin firms and smooths gradually over about three months, and can keep improving for up to six. Results can last a year or more, especially with sun protection and yearly maintenance.
Morpheus8 or microneedling with PRP?
For firmer skin, a sharper jawline or smoother neck texture, Morpheus8 reaches deeper and is usually the stronger choice, with a few more days of downtime. For surface texture, dullness or acne scarring with less downtime, microneedling with PRP may be all you need, at a lower cost per session. Some people benefit from both at different times.

Questions
Morpheus8, answered
How many Morpheus8 sessions will I need?
Most people need up to three, four to six weeks apart. Acne scarring or more laxity may need more. One maintenance session a year is common after that.
How much downtime is there?
Plan for two to five days: redness and swelling like a strong sunburn for a day or two, then some dryness or flaking. Most people look close to normal within a week.
Does Morpheus8 hurt?
It is more intense than standard microneedling. Numbing cream goes on for 45 to 60 minutes, and most people feel pressure, prickling and heat. We adjust settings and can pause whenever you need.
When will I see results?
Results build over about three months as collagen forms, and can keep improving for up to six. A glow in the first week or two is early, not final.
How long do results last?
A year or more. Your skin keeps ageing naturally, so many people have a yearly maintenance session. Daily sunscreen helps protect the result.
How is Morpheus8 different from regular microneedling?
Regular microneedling works in the upper layers. Morpheus8 adds radiofrequency energy deeper beneath the surface, so it is chosen for firmness and laxity as well as texture, with a little more downtime.
How much does Morpheus8 cost in Bellevue?
Face is $1,200 per session, face and neck $1,250, and neck $950. We confirm your total before you begin.
Is Morpheus8 suitable for darker skin tones?
It can be used across a wide range of skin tones when settings are chosen carefully. Darker skin still carries a higher risk of temporary darkening, so we treat conservatively and may suggest a test area first.
Can it be used on the body as well as the face?
Yes, for stretch marks and crepey skin, using deeper settings. Body treatments are planned and priced separately.
What should I avoid before and after treatment?
Before: tanning, retinoids and exfoliating acids for about a week; tell us about any medications. After: keep skin clean and bare for 24 hours, avoid sweating and swimming, skip active skincare for a week, and wear sunscreen daily.
